ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Shareen Vintage
For the past three weeks, I’ve been frantically preparing for tomorrow’s ThinkThruFashion Accessory Swap Soiree. Today, I had to get some last minute items for the event downtown. My friend Kinya took me to various paper good stores and then we had lunch in Little Tokyo. I should have gone directly home to start stuffing the 100 gift bags but when she mentioned Shareen Vintage I couldn’t say no. The hidden gem is the best vintage store I’ve ever been to. It’s a wide open space filled with goodies from every decade. This time, I left with a peplum 80s dress, a lace shrug, a beaded halter that Shareen transformed from a dress to a top and a star print dress Shareen picked out for me herself. Let’s just say the three-hour detour was worth it.
