ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: NYFW Day 6
These pants were another one of my Topshop purchases when the weather started to drop. Last time I wore harem pants I said I probably wouldn’t try them again. So I’m still not sure why I gravitated to these. Perhaps it was the edginess of fashion week that made me want to step outside my comfort zone. They’re not the easiest to pull off, with all that volume around the hip area. But the belted high waist helps. And they’re not necessarily as flattering as my friend Taryn’s little black skirt or Sarah’s Hervé Léger bandage. But I felt cool all day and sometimes it’s fun to take a break from my signature feminine dresses.
