ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: NYFW Day 7
Today was a gorgeous day, so my friend Sarah and I got photo happy in front of the fountain at Lincoln Center. After a few shows, I filmed a segment for Elle.com with my fellow Style Coalition members (will post soon!). And it was back to the fountain for another photo op.
Afterward, we stopped by the Victoria’s Secret Bombshell VIP suite where I got an oxygen facial by the daughter of Michelle Peck, who is Madonna’s facialist. While getting pampered on the couch Perrey Reeves stopped by and told me how much she liked my outfit. When I said my necklace was actually only $7, she replied that it totally made the dress. Why thank you Mrs. Ari Gold!
My favorite part about the look was actually the back of the dress. The thin strip of black leather and piping added some edge to the classic silhouette. My mother and I call it the Valerie dress, because it looks like something the Project Runway contestant would have made.
