ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Black Widow
For actual Halloween night I decided to go all out. Originally I was going to be a cute spider girl by pairing my Frederick’s of Hollywood accessories with a flirty skirt, spider web tights and some pumps. But inspired by my MAC vampire makeover from last Halloween, I decided to cross over to the dark side as a Black Widow. Using MAC Pro Paint, I created a red and black backdrop on my lids, and then mixed white eye shadow with a medium to create a web design. I put Urban Decay’s lashes just on my bottom lashes for a spider effect and added a few stick-on crystals I had leftover from my Christina Aguilera costume. For the lips, I lined and filled them in with Laura Mercier True Red lip pencil, applied one coat of MAC Pro Longwear Lipcolor, lined and shaded with MAC black Pro Paint, and added another coat of lipcolor. I felt so artsy I decided to use an eyeliner and the lipcolor to create a few tattoos as well. Leather pants and gloves, pointy boots and a red wig made it more dangerous. And I was even able to use one of my fashion staples in my look!
I went out with my friend Kinya (Chargers girl) and Jamie (Snooki) to the West Hollywood parade, where I ran into different types of black widows. Then we headed over to Adam Levine’s Hollywood bash at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It was a little strange partying in the mausoleum, but very appropriate for the holiday. Now it’s time to put all six of my Halloween costumes away and head back to reality!
