ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Styling Swing
Being a stylist is nowhere near as glamorous as it seems on The Rachel Zoe Project. The TV show doesn’t reveal how draining the day before a shoot can be. Trust me, it’s exhausting! After stopping by the office this morning, I ran all around Los Angeles with my intern on the hunt for aprons, soccer uniforms, cowboy hats and bright colored outfits for tomorrow’s shoot. A breezy 60s style dress kept me cool when it came to make-it-or-break-it time. With the beaded neckline, no jewelry was needed. That’s always a plus for me since I often like to try on some of the clothing I’m getting for my models to see how it looks off the hanger. And my leather boots were chic enough to wear in front of publicists during pulls… but comfy enough to wear frantically dashing from store to store at Beverly Center an hour before the mall closed. When 9 pm came around, we managed to get everything on my list, with just enough time to spare to pick up some Yorgurtland.
