ttF Fashion Staple: Metallic Knit Sweater
Normally, I would not recommend pairing a slouchy sweater with a maxi skirt unless you had a long and lean physique. But there’s always a trick for every odd fashion pairing. This look works for two reasons: 1) The skirt is fitted to the body. Any volume on bottom and I would have looked like a bag lady. And 2) The sweater’s knit is big enough that you can still see a silhouette underneath. Plus, by adding a cross-body bag, I made the top a little more fitted.

The sweater has been a big hit this month. Tonight, Kristen aka Glitter n Glue took me to a fashion meetup The Lookbook hosted at Bleu. One of the jewelry designers warned me that next time I see her, she might be wearing the sweater too!
