ttF Scene: Ippolita Sweet Adornments

Welcome to a brand new feature on ThinkThruFashion: ttF Scene. In this series, I’ll give you an inside look at the most fashionable events from chic boutique openings and posh restaurant launches to celeb-studded red carpet affairs!

This week, Ippolita held a preview of their latest jewelry collections at Palihouse in West Hollywood. Even if you’re not familiar with the line you’ve certainly seen it on celebrities. Just this past Golden Globes, Giuliana Rancic showed off blush teardrop earrings from the Wonderland collection.

My favorite part about Ippolita is the designer is an artist. She sculpts everything and creates unique processes for her work. Take her rose gold. It’s the perfect shade because it’s actually not gold, it’s a finish she calls Rosé.

While everything is to-die-for, I was drawn to the soft amethyst and mother of pearl bangles in the Modern Rock Candy collection. As you can see, they matched my nailpolish (MAC Detective) so I just had to try them on as I sipped a lemondrop martini.

After previewing jewelry, guests were treated to create their own pieces. Could you just die? Luckily, I brought along my fave DIY blogger Kristen of Glitter n Glue to serve as inspiration. Instead of necklaces, we made wrap bracelets using Ippolita charms including the Kiss….

It’s such a clever party idea to do yourself at home for a girl’s night in. All you need is a table of pretty charms, a bowl of string, candy and cocktails!
