ttF Fashion Staple: Colorblock Sandals
I’m not huge on turbans. Ever since I was younger I’ve been extremely self conscious about my forehead and I feel like the accessory only highlights my insecurity. But as part of blogger swap I did with What I Wore, I received this vibrant scarf that screamed, “Wear me on your head like Jessica did!” So I listened… and ended up loving it!
The vibrant color on top balanced out the bold colorblocking at my feet, and I did a preppy mix of navy, orange and white in between. I think the trick was leaving my bangs. Had I pulled back all my hair under the turban it would have been too much forehead for me.

I love wearing scarves that way! My only issue is that it slips off after a while. I too have a big forehead by the way, but I cover it with the front part of the scarf-turban!

I love this! I’ve been practicing my turbans lately…my issue is a tend to look like a Romanian refugee circa 1880 when I add anything scarf like to my head…but this look works much better than other headscarves….!
