ttF Fashion Staple: White Cage Heels
The last time I wore this dress I was in Miami as well. Perhaps it’s the early 90s feel of the peplum that makes me want to rock it in the city I grew up in during that decade. Regardless, I need to wear this dress more. It used to be a little frumpy below the knee so I chopped it off to make it a mini. Instead of tying it in a bow in back, I did a knot and tucked in the loose fabric like you would with a turban. To up the retro feel, I added a denim jacket and white heels, kind of a nighttime version of this outfit from last year. The result? I felt just like a 90s Guess model walking down Lincoln Road to have dinner at Sushi Samba.
