ttF Fashion Staple: Neutral Beaded Necklace
For our last night in Mexico, we celebrated my niece Caroline’s upcoming 5th birthday by the beach. Wanting a casual yet playful look I went with bright silk shorts (which matched the flames on the Mexican barbeque) and piled on the bangles. Comfort has been key this trip, and came in handy once again when the birthday girl and I did America’s Next Top Model posing by the pool. She totally stole the spotlight.

This past week, my family and I stayed at the Banyan Tree Mayokaba. It truly is a magical hotel. This has been my villa. Amaze right? After a massive breakfast everyday we’d take a boat across the lagoon to my parents’ villa on the beach, which is right next to the spot pictured called Sands. We’d play all day in the water, swim in the private pools and then eat delicious dinners every night.

While I could easily stay the rest of a month (or a million bajizillion years as Caroline said) at least I’m going home with a tan and a stomach full of the most delish guacamole. Adios Mexico!
