One of my favorite parts about the Fontainebleau is the hotel’s historic architecture. I’ve already talked about the iconic chandeliers, which inspired my own lighting in my apartment. So tonight I took my photo on the Staircase to Nowhere. Back in the 50s, there was a cloakroom upstairs, so women would drop off their furs, and then descend the staircase like a runway. The cloak room is gone but that didn’t mean I couldn’t work the golden backdrop! I brought back one of my favorite staples and mixed the stripes with polka dots, and then added pops of coral and turquoise for a little Miami flavor.
