ttF Fashion Staple: Snakeskin Wedges
The first time I wore this skirt, I couldn’t stop twirling. And today was no exception. Instead of tucking in a tee, I tied a button-down over the pleating for a retro feel. A pair of snakeskin wedges made the look more casual, perfect for a fall preview with Neiman Marcus. The retailer hosted a breakfast for a group of fashionistas at the gorgeous Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. After munching on buttery croissants, we watched a video by fashion director Kevin Downing introducing fall’s hot list, including colorblocking, bordeaux tones, handheld bags and leather, which as Ken says, “No matter the weather, we love leather.”
Models showed showed off the trends, ending with a absolutely stunning blush Oscar de la Renta gown (see more pics on my Tumblr). The finishing touch? Makeup touch-ups by Le Métier de Béaute. You couldn’t ask for a chicer morning.
