ttF Fashion Staple: Rhinestone Necklace
I saved the best for last at fashion week. I absolutely adored this skirt of my mom’s from the 80s. And the sheer, burn-out fabric couldn’t be any more on trend for the season. So I took it to the tailor to take out some of the volume and packed it up for NYC. My mother used to wear it with tights. But I layered a mini dress under to show off the full sheer effect. Fall decided to kick in my last night in the city and the wind created gorgeous shapes as I walked to Lincoln Center for the last time this week.

I spent my final evening of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with my fellow bloggers (including Jeannine Morris of Beauty Sweet Spot, pictured below) at an exclusive DKNY fashion show hosted by American Express (you can check out my review on the AMEX Skybox Report). It got a little chilly in the tents so I added a leather jacket over the dress to watch the resort show.
