ttF Fashion Staple: Wool Floppy Hat
When getting dressed for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, I went straight for my polka dots. How can you not envision Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman? Since my dress was a little low cut for a day of sipping champagne on the field, I transformed it into a skirt (check out my YouTube for tips on this trick). I would have loved an extravagant hat but with no time for shopping I made due with month’s floppy staple. It gave a boho pop of color to the classic look. Since the dress falls at my knee, I needed some height. So I went with wedges, instead of heels so I could stomp the divots without sinking into the grass.
