New York Fashion Week is finally here! And what a better way to kick it off then with BCBGMaxAzria? After getting a sneak peek of the Fall 2012 collection backstage and chatting with a few celebs, I wished Max Azria good luck and took my seat. For fall, it was all about colorblocking (yes, my fave trend continues!) pleats, longer lengths and luxe mixes of leather and fur.

As for what I wore?
I was lucky enough to borrow this gorgeous runway dress from Max Azria’s showroom in LA. I paired it with over-the-knee boots to keep warm, cinched my waist with a vintage belt and added simple Stella & Dot snake studs. And my look happened to be right in line with the runway! Models sported sleek ponytails and merlot was a major color trend, mixed with creams and taupes. Can’t wait for Day 2!
