You’ve already seen The Scene at last night’s Ted Baker party. Well, now here are details of what I wore. Whenever I’m hosting, whether it’s an event or TV, I try to go for color. And considering Tangerine Tango is the color of the year, I was immediately drawn to this pleated maxi. Instead of using the matching belt it came with, I opted to cinch my waist with neutral leather.
I knew I wanted a contrasting color for jewelry. So after a day of pampering with Victoria’s Secret for their What Is Sexy event (check out my pics on Instagram at @sydnesummer), I popped into Kendra Scott to borrow some jewels. My Chanel Jade mani must have influenced my choice considering I left with matching Chalcedony stones. The mint color was a fresh pairing with the orange.
As for shoes? With no time to hem the dress, this 5’3 girl needed some major height. Even though they weren’t the chicest choice, my wooden platform made me 5’9 for the evening—and as long as I didn’t twirl too much, were hidden under the pleats.
