I recently met Marlien Rentmeester at a Lucky Fabb event. Not only is she the incredibly chic West Coast Editor of Lucky, Marlien also has an insanely addictive blog! Le Catch features her affordable, fashionable finds on the web, plus inspiration on how to wear the trends. Considering Marlien posts the most covetable items on a daily basis (it’s killing my credit card!) I was curious to hear about her one must-have fashion staple. Here’s what she had to say:

Favorite Staple? Striped T-Shirt

Why is it so versatile? I own at least half a dozen, all bearing stripes of varying width and colors. I treat stripes like a neutral, because they go with just about every print from florals to ikats to lace. It’s also fun to wear stripes with unexpected pieces. For example: I’ll team my navy and white striped tee with a sequin pencil skirt or a black fringed leather mini. It’s a forever-chic staple that keeps on giving!
