(BCBG, Tadashi Shoji, Monika Chiang)

I kicked off New York Fashion Week today with BCBG. It’s always one of my favorite shows at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I got to preview the collection backstage, and talk to celebrities like Dania Ramirez (pictured above in BCBG colorblock).

I chose a lace dress for show, which was right on par for spring. Lubov Azria was also in lace, and the collection featured the delicate fabric mixed with chambray and leather.

Next up was Tadashi Shoji, which featured more lace. Instead of the blacks and whites at BCBG, Tadashi was full of color from rich paprika to cool blue and green prints. I ended the afternoon at Monika Chiang’s presentation and was dying over the shoes! Can’t wait to get my hands on those for spring.
