The Truth About Curls

Did you know that the majority of curly haired women have a love/hate relationship with their curls?  Well, Paul Mitchell figured it out. That’s why they decided to create products and a campaign for women to embrace their curls.

I’m a huge fan of bringing out my natural texture. While I don’t necessarily have curly hair ala curly-haired queen Carrie Bradshaw, I can create some beachy waves like SJP did in later season. So I was thrilled to try out Paul Mitchell’s new Curly Hair products. They aren’t available in stores until October. But you can start joining the community by sharing your “Curls Confession.” Here’s how:

  • Facebook: Like Paul Mitchell’s page at Bit.ly/CurlsConfession and submit your confession
  • Instagram & Twitter: Share your confession by using the hashtag #curlconfession

Another cool part about the Truth About Curls campaign? Paul Mitchell used real women as models! One of my West Coast blogger buddies, Beth Jones of B. Jones Style, always reminded me of a Carrie so I was thrilled to see her in the campaign. Doesn’t she look beautiful?
