Fashion Staple Used: Maxi Shirtdress
The high slit trend is scary. Very scary. But I’ve been wanting to try it for a while now. So I unbuttoned my dress to new heights to show off a whole lot of leg. The only reason this high of a slit works is because the rest of the dress is very conservative with the sleeves and collar.

To keep it sleek, I swept my hair into a low bun, added a bright red lip and cinched my waist with golden chains. About an hour after I took these pics I started feeling a little self-conscious so I ended up buttoning one more button. That’s the beauty of an adjustable dress: you can experiment.
