Finding the perfect pair of pants is right up there with shopping for bathing suits. It can be quite the painful process! But pants are a Fall staple. You can wear from the office through the weekend. That’s why I was thrilled to hear about LOFT’s pant revolution. The brand came out with a Five Minute Fit diagnostic which is a series of questions to help you find your perfect fit. After taking it, I found out I was a Julie. The pants fit narrow at the waist with a curved shape at the hips. Plus, they come in Petite… score! Here are two outfits I’m planning to wear this season:

– Work – 

For the office, I like using pants to create a modern suit. I paired the oxblood pant (a major color trend this season!) with a printed blouse to bring some life into my look. Then I added classic black accessories. Being on the petite side, I’m a huge fan of the pant’s lower knee break. It instantly adds two inches to your frame, especially when you pair it with a pointy pump.

– Weekend – 

Over the weekend, you can use pants instead of jeans for a more polished look. To make my outfit more casual, I added a denim shirt then brought in a fun factor with leopard shoes. Since the pants have a wider waistband, it really smoothes your tummy. So you can easily layer a form-fitting sweater on top without worrying about any bulge.
