Fashion Staple Used: Leather Pencil Skirt
As much as a I adore my laid back lifestyle, sometimes I wish I had more opportunities to wear a suit. There’s something so powerful about the combination. To update your basic black separates for the season, try faux leather. I paired my paneled skirt with last week’s staple: the leather sleeve blazer.

Then I brought in another one of fall’s A-Z trends to mix with my top (make sure to watch my H is Houndstooth video!). Instead of a necklace, I added a brooch and some arm candy. And whenever I wear black and white I always feel the need to add a pop of color: enter the red lip.
