One of my favorite parts about fashion week is everything that happens behind the scenes. Before a fashion show, designers conduct a hair and makeup test to decide what beauty looks to pair with the clothing on the runway. I was lucky enough to get to be one of the Pamella Roland test models with dream team Ted Gibson and Matin Maulawizada.

Celebrity hairstylist Ted created soft waves while celebrity makeup artist Matin used Laura Mercier makeup for a retro glam feel with glitter eyes and a rosy complexion. The volume and sparkle was the perfect compliment to my American Hustle inspired outfit that afternoon. I can’t wait to see the hair and makeup—and, of course, fashion!—on the runway tomorrow at Pamella Roland’s show.
