As many of you know, I’m originally from Miami. So when I found out I was going to the Express Runway fashion show on South Beach I was beyond ecstatic. When I hosted a video in NYC over the summer, I went for black on black leather. But in Miami I knew I wanted my look to be white hot.
I went with a crochet crop top and pencil skirt. The longer hemline of the skirt still shows off your legs through the fabric but gives it more of a sophisticated vibe than a mini. I found these adorable sunnies at the Express store on Lincoln Road the night before the event and love how they add a retro vibe. I wanted a pop of color so I took inspiration from the Miami Dolphins and went with orange and turquoise accessories.
This week, I’ve been hanging out with my gorgeous friend Annabelle from Viva Luxury. She also went for a white hot look, incorporating one of Spring’s hottest trends, metallics. We had such a blast at the show and I can’t wait to share my video with you guys (including my interview with Kate Upton!). I took it in a little. The top is boxier and since I’m narrower I wanted a tighter fit. So my tailor was able to adjust for $10. I think making it tighter made it a little shorter. Hope that helps!
