   Hello Sydne!

   What should be the proper length of a maxi dress if you wear
   it with flats? What about with wedges? I am 5’2 and I wanted to hem one of my
   maxi dresses about ½ inches from the floor (to wear with flats) but I am afraid
   that it is going to look bad if I wear it with wedges. What are your thoughts?

     Great question! It’s ideal for your dress to be just above the floor for all your shoes but obviously that would require multiple dresses in different lengths! So I would recommend bringing your wedges to the tailor when hemming. It’s better to have the dress hit your ankles when you’re in flats. If that happens with wedges it won’t look good. Hope that helps 🙂
