Fashion Staple Used: Striped Skirt
Happy July Fourth eve! What’s everyone doing tomorrow? I am being the most last minute I’ve ever been. I still haven’t decided on my plans! I would like to go to the beach though, that’s for sure. I had so much fun shooting this look in Venice. It’s flirty but still comfy, perfect for summer date nights by the water.
I’m a huge fan of crop sets (remember this video?). It’s a fun alternative to a dress and having separates allows you to get different sizes on tops and bottom. When rocking stripes, pay attention to the direction of the lines. Vertical stripes, like the ones running down my top, lengthen the body, while diagonal ones, like the ones on my skirt, help play up curves.
To make the navy and white look July Fourth friendly I added a red lip and mani and a flag scarf. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend! I can’t wait to see what you wear on Instagram!
