When it comes to coverups, you don’t always have to head straight for the swim section. A cotton dress, like this printed one from Old Navy, is a great summer go-to because it works both on and off the beach! For a day in Venice, I threw the dress on over a bandeau bikini and added retro frames and a straw floppy hat. Instead of a traditional straw tote, I used a faux leather bag. The sand easily brushes off and you don’t look as beachy when you’re headed into a cafe for lunch. For night, I simply added some gold accessories and a bright pump to dress up the look!
