Awards Season is one of my favorite times of the year. And this year I got to go to the actual Emmys! When deciding what to wear, I thought about my best dressed picks from last year. Hands down my favorite was Kerry Washington in Marchesa. So I opted for a similar romantic feel with this white BCBG dress (now on sale!). With the blocked lace corset and sheer skirt, I felt I didn’t need too much accessorizing. So I just added some statement earrings and a few sparkly rings.
White turned out to be a major trend for the evening, second to the most popular color of the night: red. After the show I got to attend the Governor’s Ball with some of my fab friends, including Jeanine who rocked E!’s red carpet with Dove, and Jenny, pictured with me below. Highlights? Bumping into Liev Schreiber again (love Ray Donovan!), standing a few steps away from Jon Hamm (swoon!) and getting to see all the gorgeous gowns up close. It truly was a fab night of fashion!
A huge thank you to Dove for such a memorable experience!

And, of course, here are are my best dressed picks of the night….
(Allison Williams in Giambattista Valli Couture, Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Carolina Herrera, Camila Alves in Zuhair Murad, Claire Danes in Givenchy, Sofia Vergara in Roberto Cavalli, Sarah Hyland in Christian Siriano)(Allison Williams in Giambattista Valli Couture, Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Carolina Herrera, Camila Alves in Zuhair Murad, Claire Danes in Givenchy, Sofia Vergara in Roberto Cavalli, Sarah Hyland in Christian Siriano)
Camila and Julia were my top two picks. I wish you could have seen Claire’s in person. It was even prettier! And when I walked past Allison on my way out of the theatre my girl crushed majorly tripled. Who do think rocked the Emmys red carpet?
And tune into KTLA tomorrow morning to see how you can get the best dressed celebrity looks for less!
You look amazing! What an awesome experience!
You look so glamorous! Just beautiful!
Aside from you…duh…I think Sarah Hyland killed it. Sophisticated yet youthful isn’t always easy to pull off, but she did. I also loved Gwen Stefani’s gown. Gorgeous! Her hair…not so much.
