As much as I love shoes, bags and jewelry, my iPhone case is one of my most important accessories. I have it in my hand the majority of the day so I need it to be just as fashionable as my outfit. I teamed up with Target to showcase their new collection of cases, designed by Brooklyn-based artist Dana Tanamachi in partnership with Belkin.

The Ralph Waldo Emerson quote case inspired this look, “To be simple is to be great.” Sometimes the simplest outfits are the greatest: a black top, cool skirt, classic pumps, embellished bag and, of course, a fab iPhone case. My favorite of Dana’s cases, which are sold exclusively at Target, is the ampersand. The gold lettering gives a glam feel to the black case. But growing up reading fairytales at bedtime every night, I also love the Once Upon a Time case! Luckily, they are only $24.99. I have this skirt! 🙂 But I find that the mesh material is too shiny and makes it look less elegant and more…. cheap…… It doesn’t show in any of these pics though. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Love the outfit!
