Fashion Staple Used: Graphic Tee
I’ve been in Miami the past few days for Art Basel. Even though I grew up in Miami, I’ve never had the opportunity to attend the international art show. Essentially all of South Beach and the Design District turn into a cultural combination of galleries, installations, pop-ups and parties. Inspired by the event, I decided to DIY one of my fave tees from Old Navy​.

Neon always reminds of Miami, so I added fluorescent accents to the graphics and painted Miami across J’Adore (I made it ombre by starting with pink and layering the bottom with yellow). You can replicate the DIY for your city, too!

My favorite part of Basel was visiting the more intimate galleries. You can attend a party, or just pop in to check out the art. I stumbled upon Van Alpert’s exhibition, which draws inspiration from Hollywood icons. The graphic black and white designs, accented by pops of color seemed like the perfect fit for my outfit on Day 1 of Art Basel.
