As much as I adore dresses, sometimes it’s fun to think outside the box when it comes to holiday parties. Considering how huge menswear is right now, the tuxedo is a stylish alternative. I’m headed to Australia Friday so I’m bringing along my tuxedo shorts suit (if it’s colder where you live, you can also do a tuxedo pant, like I did last year).

Another thing I love about this outfit is it’s machine washable, making it perfect for travel.
