Fashion Staple Used: Little Red Dress
New York Fashion Week kicks off today. And minus the cold, I couldn’t be more excited! Since it’s a bit later this year, Valentine’s Day falls smack in the middle. I’ll wear my little red dress when I have a belated celebration with my bf back in LA. But this weekend, I’m toasting with my girls. So I thought about how to make the LRD less sexy and more laid-back.
A quick trick is to turn it into a top by folding it underneath. I layered it over distressed jeans and gave it some edge with moto boots and a leather jacket (and yes, I definitely plan on wearing a coat on top!). To spice things up, I added a leopard bag, and doubled the print with my iPhone. Then I continued the matchy-matchy theme with a red lip.
