I started off with a white lace dress as a base. Then  used my accessories to get into character. The Renaissance was all about ornate jewelry. So I piled on six necklaces (yes six!) to create a bold statement piece. I was at an event with a braid bar from The Glam App earlier that day so had them create milk maid braids, which I set with a gold headband. It was my modern fashion version of the Louis XIV era.
My friends interpreted the them in all different ways. Kristen went a similar route with a maxi dress and necklaces. Sheryl alluded to the collars of the decade with a bow-tie blouse. And Kelly tapped into the France element of the exhibit with French Riviera stripes. We had so much fun and I can’t wait to get back to The Getty soon!
