Sydne Style - Los Angeles Fashion Blogger Sydne Summer styles a fun Betsey Johnson clutch with leather and stripes during her coverage of New York Fashion Week.There are so many types of shows at fashion week. Some are magical, others are fierce and a few are so incredibly fun. Two fit the fun mold in New York: Betsey Johnson and Kate Spade. Betsey celebrated 50 years in fashion with a Benjamin Button inspired show that took us from the present back to the childhood costumes her mother saved. And Kate Spade greeted guests with flower bouquets as they entered a presentation full of playful looks and the most adorable bags (you can watch glimpses of both in my fashion week vlog).

I was inspired by the fun factor when creating this look. All the inspiration came from the bag. I brought out the black and white with a faux leather skirt and striped shirt. Then I added a pop of pink with my lips and Barbie heels. I got to borrow the clutch to watch Betsey’s show and unfortunately it’s not available online right now. So I wanted to round up some other fun bags from the two designers to get you inspired to create a whimsical look of your own.
