One of the perks of being a style blogger is getting to attend cool events. So I was thrilled when Dove invited me to a Trend Crawl around Los Angeles. The day kicked off at my home testing out the new Dove Dry Spray deodorant. I was drawn to the fresh, fruity scent of Revive. As promised, it went on clear without any residue, only leaving inspiration of what to wear that day. The pink packaging resulted in dressing up my denim with blush accents.
The it was off to the Avalon hotel to have brunch at Viviane. We chatted about what fashion and beauty trends we’re excited about for spring over delicious tuna tartare and sandwiches. My top picks? I’m all about the new white shirt. Essentially, the classic button-down is getting updated in tunics, cut-outs and dramatic necklines. I also definitely plan on sporting the sleek braid trend, perfect for those days you don’t feel like putting in too much effort to your hair!
Next it was off to Enamel Diction for manis. We got a colorscope reading, which is basically a way that you can use your horoscope to determine what colors you should be wearing. It turns out gray is my career color, blue is my love color and white provides me clarity. Things have been very hectic recently so I figured a little clarity couldn’t hurt!
Our last stop was Satine, a super chic boutique on 3rd Street. Over macarons and bubbly we stocked up on some accessories for fashion week. I can’t wait to show you guys the new belt I got! And despite trend crawling all over town, my Dove deodorant made sure I stayed dry throughout it all. It’s now become one of my daily go-tos. Thank you to Dove for such a fun day!
