I’ll admit, when the flatform trend first emerged I wasn’t that into it. I felt like the shoes were too chunky for my style. But after seeing them over and over again, they started to grow on me and I finally gave in. I got my first pair and now I understand what the craze is about. They are so comfortable!
I was inspired by Whitney Port to pair the sandals with a denim dress for a casual look that is perfect for a day of errands. While Whitney did a traditional denim, I did a softer chambray, which is more lightweight for the heat. Since mine didn’t come with a belt, I added a skinny belt in neutral tones to match the rest of my accessories. I rounded up a bunch of affordable chambray shirt dresses at the end of the post. And I’d love to hear what you think of the flatform shoe trend!
