How To Wear the Tribal Trend in the City

Sydne Style shows vacation outfit ideas with tribal printsWhenever I think of the tribal trend, I always flash back to one of my favorite runway shows ever, Louis Vuitton Spring 2009. Seven years later, I’m still obsessed with the collection’s mixed prints and ornate accessories. So whenever tribal gets revived in the fashion world, I think back to the show when creating an outfit. This season, it’s all about pom-poms (stay tuned later this week for more ways to wear the trend in my Summer Trend Guide on YouTube!).

Most people think of vacation when they see colorful pom-pom accents. But you can wear the trend in the city with the right styling. I toned down my tribal print, pom-pom embellished top with classic black shorts. Then, taking inspiration from Louis Vuitton, I added mixed prints with a leopard bag and ethnic beading with comfy wedge sandals. What do you think of the tribal trend? Would you wear it in every day life?
