Everyone I talk to still has lots of holiday shopping to do. In today’s holiday gift guide, I wanted to share some gift ideas that give back to charity. It’s the gift that keeps giving!
Gifts That Give Back to Children
Milly has a holiday capsule collection that benefits Girls Inc. of New York City. The line of tees, hoodies and pouches for women and little girls all have empowerment messages like Superhero and Girl Boss. 20% of proceeds goes to the charity to help educate and inspire low income girls.
TOMS has always been at the forefront of charitable shopping. For every shoe purchased, TOMS gives a pair of shoes to a child in need. They have a range of options from velvet booties to tassel slippers.
I fell in love with One Hope Wines when they gifted Bunny and I a box of wine and toys. All their wines give back to a variety of charities. Every bottle from their glitter collection (so perfect for New Year’s parties!) provides 15 meals to a child in need.
Gifts That Give Back to Animals
I’ve been sending gifts from World Wildlife Fund for years. You can pick out a wild animal and they send an adoption kit with a plush toy and certificate of adoption. Proceeds benefit their worldwide conservation efforts. It’s a great way to teach children about the environment. They even have bundle set so you can send multiple animals to siblings.
Lush is a beauty brand that has always been cruelty free. They took it one step further with their Charity Pot lotion that donates 100% of proceeds to humanitarian, environmental and animal rights causes locally and around the world.
More Gifts That Give Back
My friend Jessica Lowndes is one of the kindest humans I’ve met. She created a line called Love Fights and each article of clothing benefits a different charity close to her heart. A portion of proceeds from the Heart Tank goes to Variety Children’s Charity, the MS is BS tee goes to Best Buddies and the Gypsy Queen tee goes to Green Peace Charity.
I’ve been working with Philosophy for years. Not only do I adore their beauty products but I’ve always been so impressed with the charitable aspect of their brand. 1% of sales of every single one of their products goes to support community mental health programs as part of their Hope & Grace initiative. For holiday, I’m loving their beauty ornaments and gift sets.
You’ve seen me wear n:Philanthropy many times on the blog. Their clothing is beyond comfy and charity is at the core of their brand. In addition to donating to children and animal charities, the staff visits local children hospitals for team building that gives back. I’m currently obsessed with their Amour tee and these joggers that I’ve been lounging in all week.
