Every season, Pantone, the color authority of fashion, comes out with a report outlining what colors will be the most popular. This spring is full of uplifting colors. There are pastels, brights and neutrals for those that shy away from too much color.

I rounded up some shopping options to get you started on Spring since it’s less than a week away! I wanted to break it down into an easier color guide (since the Pantone color names can be pretty confusing to remember!).
Cheery Brights
In the bright color family we have yellow, lime and a bright red with lots of orange to it.
Soft Pastels
Basically every pastel is in, from peach and pale pink to soft blue and green.
Everything Purple
Ultraviolet is the color of the year, not just for spring. So if you haven’t already noticed, I’m sure you’ll be seeing a ton of purple soon. While bold purple is in, I prefer the softer lavender and pinkish purple that is more like an orchid.
Deep Tones
Two surprising colors that are in for Spring 2018 are a darker red tone and a deep chocolate brown. I like wearing these shades with denim and white to make them feel a little brighter.
