I always get asked where I stay when I visit New York City. While there are many hotels I love, my constant favorite is NoMo SoHo. I’ve stayed there for so many years that it now feels like my home away from home when I’m in the city. Here are the top four reasons I love this NoMo SoHo New York:
To say that NoMo SoHo New York is Instagram worthy is an understatement. There is a photo opp around every corner, starting with the gorgeous entrance. The hotel even started the hashtag #NoMoArchway since so many people take photos under the archway.
I also love taking photos in the rooms. Each one is bright and airy, with blue accents. If you stay on the higher floors, you get the most spectacular views of the city.
NoMo SoHo is in the heart of Soho, which is great because there are the best shops and restaurants in walking distance. But unlike most parts of Soho, it doesn’t feel too crowded since the property is tucked away off the main street. It’s the reason I take the majority of my New York fashion week street style shots right around the hotel!
My go-to spots in a super short walking distance are Saturdays NYC for my daily almond milk lattes, Zara for whenever I need a last minute outfit and Sweetgreen for quick on-the-go salads.
Food & Drinks
One of my favorite parts about staying at the hotel is the restaurant, NoMo Kitchen. For starters, it’s gorgeous (yes, another Instagram moment!). Since it has skylights, you feel like you’re outside without having to brave New York’s often fickle weather. My favorite things on the menu are the Smoke and Mirrors cocktail (a delicious blueberry tequila creation) and their pasta. During fashion week, I always end up ordering the spaghetti to my room after a long day. Yes, room service comes from the yummy restaurant as well.
Every time I stay, everyone is so sweet, from the people at checkin to the bellman who always hold the door for me as I’m rushing out for a busy day. It really does feel like a home away from home.
