Two huge fall trends are snakeskin and lace. At New York Fashion Week, I combined both trends together in one look. The reason I likes pairing them together is the lace brings a feminine vibe to snakeskin. And the snakeskin brings a touch edge to lace.

I went with neutrals but my lace top also comes in black and the snakeskin skirt also comes in a gray print. I use knee high boots to balance out the short length of the skirt. And the boots came in handy! Just 30 minutes after we stepped outside it started raining. Luckily, my friend Sheryl had a trench coat that perfectly matched my look!

After seeing French Connection’s beautiful presentation, we decided to take a break from fashion week the rest of the afternoon and have drink and a long dinner in the city. You can watch it all in my fashion week recap I published yesterday! It’s amazing what a difference a week makes. I’m still home recovering from my concussion (more on that in the vlog in case you haven’t heard about it already). I’m going a little stir crazy being at home so long. But at least I have these wonderful memories of fashion week to look back upon.
