I hope you had a nice weekend! I spent it with my best friend I hadn’t seen in a year! It was so nice to catch up over takeout and morning hikes. I also celebrated Easter with my little bunny, Jack Jack, and his friend. We did a little dog Easter egg hunt by putting dog treats in Easter eggs and letting the dogs find them. It was inspired by mom last year, who created a pretty epic dog Easter egg hunt in the backyard. It’s so crazy to think that last year I was quarantining down in San Diego. And this year, I just got my first dose of the vaccine! Aside from getting the vaccine, here are some more things making me happy…
5 THINGS I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW
#1 stylish heights
This is my second pair of the same espadrilles. I always say when you love something, to get it in multiple colors. Being petite, I super appreciate the 4-inch heel, which makes me feel like I have the longest legs. But the platform is over three inches, so I can actually walk in the shoes. I have this pink color, as well as taupe. But there are a ton of colors to choose from!
It’s been over a year since I got a pedicure. But this tool makes my feet feel like I just left the nail salon! I used to just use a pumice stone in the shower. But now I get rid of calluses by filing them once a week with this grater. It makes my feet super smooth, especially when I apply intensive cream right after getting out of the shower.
My favorite gift I received for my birthday was a Book of the Month club. Knowing how much I love to read, my parents sent me a three month membership. I can’t wait for my April box! I looked at past months, and so many of the titles are on my faves list. So I already feel confident I’m going to like the titles I chose. Plus, they have early releases, which I’m super excited about!
I loved my floral skirt so much that I ordered the same print in a wrap dress. You can never go wrong with a wrap style. It’s a classic style that will alway be in fashion. I thought the ruffles on top added an extra feminine touch to this timeless staple.
I binged on the entire season of The One in a week. It’s fascinating and full of twists and turns! The shows follows a scientist, who founded a matchmaking service that bases finding your soulmate through a DNA match. Along the rise of her hugely successful company, there’s murder, lies and deceit.
