I didn’t know how much I needed female energy in m

I didn’t know how much I needed female energy in my life until 10 pounds of it plopped into my arms.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved being a boy mom to Preston and Jack Jack. And I miss Chubbs so much. But I didn’t realize how much I needed some feminine energy in my life until I adopted Bijou. She’s delicate and soft but man she is strong. These past couple of months have been a daily reminder that no matter what we look like on the outside, we as women truly are resilient.

Thank you to @bornagainanimalrescue for saving this beautiful soul.

I planned on editing all the content I shot so I could post something for you after I dropped my son off tonight. But I remembered what my friend said and instead decided to be gentle with myself. Instead of posting something perfect I pulled out my phone at the beach with my pups just to say hi.

It was like the Sex and City movie when Carrie asked if she’d ever laugh again and Miranda replied yes, when something is really funny.

Yes, this week was absolute💩. But Bijou’s face when the tide rolled in and almost drenched us filming this? Priceless.
