Helpless. It’s the word my friends and family have been texting each other nonstop these past few days. I can’t even begin to comprehend how my friends feel after losing their homes to the California fires.

This photo was from my last shoot before I moved from Los Angeles two years ago. I remember breathing in the ocean air of the beautiful city I called home for over 20 years. Seeing the images of the view I looked out on while pregnant with my son now feels like watching an apocalyptic movie—it’s heartbreaking.

It’s natural to feel helpless. But even if you don’t live in LA, you can help.

💛 If you’re in San Diego or near LA: Many organizations are collecting supplies to provide immediate relief. I shared on Stories where I’m donating locally in North County to be transported to LA.

2025 Vibes: Be Present 💛

I stopped making New Year’s resolutions in 2020 and shifted to setting intentions instead. Somewhere along the way, even those got lost. So this year, I’m keeping it simple with just two words to guide me: BE PRESENT. ✨

Don’t worry, I’ll still be here sharing with you—you’re my fam! 🫶 But I’ve been working on balancing documenting life and actually living it. I truly believe it’s possible to do both—it just takes a little adjustment. That’s my focus for 2025. Not a resolution, not an intention, just a two-word reminder to soak in the beautiful sounds life has to offer… like my son’s first word, which started and ended my 2024. 🥰

I’m so happy maxi skirts from the ‘90s are back! 🙌🏼 I love their minimalist vibes, and the column shape is so elongating. This one (available in tons of colors!) is super comfy thanks to the elastic waistband. Here’s how I’m styling it for New Year’s:

☀️ Daytime: A cozy oversized sweater creates the perfect contrast with a silky skirt. I got mine in petite so I can wear it with flats—like these silver sneakers that helped me shine through the holidays. ✨

🌙 Night: I’m not usually into showing off so much midriff, but I love the balance of being mostly covered with just a peek of skin. Plus, anything goes for NYE! 🎉

2024: My Year of GLIMMERS ✨✨✨

Last year, I asked what one word summed up your year. For me, it was connection (you can scroll through my Reels to see how I found connection during one of the hardest years of my life). This year, my word is ✨GLIMMERS—those micro moments of joy you experience during everyday life.

The way my son stops to cuddle his brother on a walk 🐾, the crash of a wave hitting the shore 🌊, my boyfriend’s bear hugs 🤗, the sparkle of late-afternoon sun on the ocean ✨, my mom’s contagious laughter 💛, and yes, even the spilled milk moments 🥛.

Glimmers are the opposite of triggers. By focusing on these beautiful mini moments, I’ve found a sense of calm I haven’t felt in years. Don’t get me wrong—life with a toddler is far from chill. And even though I didn’t think it was possible, the drama from last year has escalated —but it doesn’t trigger me the way it used to. And honestly, I’m just… happy.

If this wasn’t your best year, I hope my story can remind you: it does get better. Sometimes you don’t get what you thought you wanted because the universe has something even more beautiful waiting for you just around the corner. 💫

Here’s to the glimmers—and to whatever 2025 brings! ✨💛

I wasn’t sure how much use I’d get out of a sheer top, so I opted for this super affordable one—just $27! And wow, was I wrong. I’ve worn this dainty top so many times! Here are two ways for holiday:

☀️ Daytime: I adore the blazer-with-nothing-underneath trend, but sometimes it feels too bare for certain occasions. This sheer embellished top gives the illusion of going bare while still offering coverage. Plus, the sparkle adds an extra festive touch to winter white looks.

🌙 Night: This top gives off serious princess vibes when paired with a festive skirt. I’ve styled it with tulle before, but for this holiday look, I went with a silky maxi. A nude tube top underneath keeps the barely-there look mom-approved.
