Stewart + Brown is a Los Angeles-based brand founded by partners Karen Stewart and Howard Brown. Both are trained artists, so design holds high importance—as does the environment: In addition to using green fabrics, Stewart + Brown donates a portion of sales to non-profit, non-governmental environmental and social welfare organizations.

The girlie dresses are my favorite. The ruffles, crochet, lace and embroidery are ideal for a garden party or a relaxing afternoon at a swanky pool. The coolest part is you can see the original sketches or the clothes on the website. There’s nothing better than viewing art while shopping.
