I can’t believe it’s almost September. Where did summer go?! In the few weeks left before Labor Day, I’m determined to get use out my favorite summery pieces, like my Aqua embroidered cream skirt. When fall comes around, I’m thinking of getting the sequined version ($88) to wear with black tights. In the meantime, I’ve styled it for three different warm weather occasions.
1. Weekend
A white tank almost always goes with a full high-waist skirt. I’ve kept the palette black and white for a clean look I can wear to run errands then meet the girls for lunch.
Hard Tail tank, Jules Smith charm school vintage jellies, Dani Black gladiator sandals, Botkier bag
2. Work
By layering a cardigan over the skirt, I’ve disguised the black waistband. A brooch dresses up the outfit and adds a vintage touch.
Victoria’s Secret cardigan, vintage brooch, Ann Taylor belt, Calvin Klein pumps, Gucci tote
3. Parties
A flirty ruffle top plays up the feminine floral embroidery on the skirt. A v-neck helps create an hourglass shape.
Kay Unger top, M2 by Mary Margrill necklace, vintage rings, Guess peep-toes, vintage Chanel purse

Fab, as always, Sydne! The work look is my fave, but all three are impeccably styled.
I’m torn btw the work and the party looks! ๐
2 questions: did you fold the cardigan bottom so it would be shorter? and can you do a piece on student attire as well? Thanks ๐
I did not fold it. It is a shrunken cardigan so it is already cropped.
Feel free to email any specific questions on student attire to ask@thinkthrufashion.com
cool, sent you an email! ๐
