When living in Boston, I discovered the Ralph Lauren Rugby shop on Newbury Street.  At the time, they didn’t have an online store so I was able to stock up on preppy items with an edge and be the only wearing them when I returned to California. Years later they started a website. At first I was upset because everyone in the country would have access to plaid bustier tops and tweed skirts with a ruffle hem.
