I’ve noticed something off about my eyebrows for a while now. I just couldn’t put my finger on it—and neither could the numerous estheticians I tried in search of a new eyebrow expert. It only took Claudia, an associate at Anastasia’s new Brentwood salon, one minute to figure out the problem.
“You’re eyebrows are uneven,” she told me at last night’s Lights, Camera, Fashion! pre-Oscar beauty event “One arch is higher than the other.” With this new information I looked in the mirror and saw exactly what she meant. I was horrified. Had I really been walking around with uneven brows for the past few months?
Luckily, Claudia assured me that we could slowly fix the problem over my next few visits. At $45/waxing the solution doesn’t come cheap but at least I don’t have to worry about trying out any new salons. See, Claudia’s trick wasn’t just that she’s a lovely woman who knows her stuff. She used Anastasia’s techniques.
I was always hesitant about eyebrow stencils but Anastasia has developed outlines that compliment people with all different bone structure. And by using these stencils you can guarantee symmetry. If you can’t make it to a salon, there are a few different at home kits you can try so you don’t end up with uneven brows that take months to fix.
