ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Peabody Palace
Today we went to the Peabody Hotel to see the March of the Ducks. It’s the most adorable tradition where ducks walk down a red carpet into a fountain, and then walk back to the elevator and up to their palace. We had drinks in the lobby waiting for the march to begin, and then headed up to the roof afterward to look out over the city.

I brought my cotton convertible dress (you can wear it as a strapless or a skirt) since I knew it wouldn’t crease. Ever since I saw Mary-Kate Olsen wear a white tee with a high-waist maxi skirt I’ve adored that look. The deep V is fine for LA but for Memphis, a higher neckline was more appropriate. This was my first time wearing my You by Crocs wedges (which my mother called granny shoes) and I’m not so sure if they’re as comfy as advertised. But I plan on giving them another go till I make my decision.
