ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Prim in Pastel
This is one of my favorite skirts… because nobody else has it. It was part of a suit my mom bought in the early 90s. I got it taken in and wear it every Spring with tanks, tees and button-up shirts. Today, I paired it with a tie-dye tank so I could wear my matching mint necklace. It weighs a ton, and my neck starts to ache a bit after a few hours, but it’s worth it.

Speaking of comfort, or un-comfort rather, it was not the brightest idea to wear 4 ½-inch heels for the first time when I’d be on my feet for 8 hours. It was quite painful walking across the street to Johnnie’s to congratulate my friend Dahvi on her new, elegant job with People.com. But you can’t let fashion get in the way of friendship!
